Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization
New Leaf Chiropractic and Wellness is excited to bring Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization to Seattle’s Madison Park community.
This treatment technique is growing in popularity with athletes as it helps with stabilizing joints and improves movement. I’ve seen drastic improvement in my patients – and even had the opportunity to train a member of the USA U18 Hockey Team in 2021. Other patients I’ve helped include a world-class professional surfer and several rugby and basketball players.
It’s my firm belief that everyone can greatly benefit from this technique. Our stability changes as we age, so it’s vital to keep it (or get it) into excellent condition.

So, what is DNS? DNS is a technique that stimulates movement control centers in the brain to activate how our bodies were meant to move by restoring and stabilizing locomotor function.
DNS works by stimulating the central nervous system to retrain the neurophysiological aspect of the locomotion system. This allows for ideal spinal and extremity joint stabilization and leads to improved movement patterns and restoration of dysfunctional areas of the body.
DNS helps activate stabilization musculature, which starts with proper mechanics of the diaphragm, pelvic floor and "core musculature," then expands to the limbs.
Even if you’re not a national-level athlete, you can benefit from DNS. The following conditions can be treated with DNS:
Low back pain
Sciatica
Core weakness/instability
Knee pain
Toe walking
Plantar fasciitis
Hamstring sprains
Carpal tunnel
Tennis/golfer’s elbow
GERD (Acid Reflux)
DNS is for everyone!
